About the role:
As the AEM Developer, you’ll design, build and maintain AEM Sites components, templates and services, while implementing front-end features with React and TypeScript and applying headless patterns where they add value. You’ll develop back-end services in Java/OSGi with a focus on performance, security and reuse as well as contribute to the CI/CD pipelines and environment automation to enable frequent, reliable releases. Day to day, you’ll collaborate with UX, content authors, QA and SRE to deliver accessible, WCAG-compliant experiences, troubleshoot production issues and continuously improve performance and observability. Throughout, you’ll uphold the organisation's privacy and security standards to protect their customers and their data.

What you’ll need to bring:

• Proven AEM Cloud Service delivery (or recent AEMaaCS migration), incl. Sling Models, OSGi, Dispatcher/CDN and authoring workflows.
• Proficiency in Java, React, and TypeScript.
• Solid CI/CD exposure (Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Azure DevOps), branching and automated testing.
• Sound engineering practices- Git, code reviews, unit/integration testing and documentation.
• Modern front-end tooling (Webpack/Vite, Node.js, CSS frameworks) and component-driven development.
• Integration with REST/GraphQL and design systems, strong collaboration skills with non-technical stakeholders.
• Cloud-native operations familiarity (Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform, Azure/AWS), observability (Datadog/New Relic), and performance tuning.
• Nice to have: AEM headless (GraphQL models, SPA Editor, Content Fragments), Adobe Analytics/Target/Launch, WCAG 2.2 and security-by-design, migration to AEM Cloud Service.
