What you’ll be doing:
You’ll take ownership of testing our data platform and products across a multi-stream programme, defining the test strategy and approach- including automation practices and tooling, designing and maintaining test plans, scripts, automation procedures and regression suites. Day to day, you’ll execute tests, analyse results, document outcomes and feed insights back into delivery teams, while reconciling data between legacy and new sources to ensure accuracy and completeness. You’ll work closely with project management, engineering and data operations to set and uphold quality gates and play an active role in workshops and agile ceremonies to drive continuous improvement.
What you need you to bring:
- Strong QA experience across data platforms- data warehouse/lake/ODS, ETL/ELT, with a minimum of 6 years of experience
- Proven data reconciliation skills- financial services experience preferred, investments strongly valued.
- Proven hands-on test automation experience, able to provide guidance and thought leadership.
- Excellent SQL; Snowflake experience preferred. Exposure to Coalesce, Azure Data Factory and Precisely is an advantage.
- Solid data management and modelling knowledge (reference, transactional, 3NF, dimensional).
- Strong communicator and collaborative agile team member.
- Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps (ADO) is beneficial.
