Quick-fire questions with Greg
What's a technology that gives you the most joy to use?
Give me some old-school technology, especially turbocharged manual cars. There’s something incredibly satisfying about the raw, hands-on driving experience.
If you could share a meal with anyone in history. Who would it be and why?
My late Grandpa on my dad’s side, who I never had the chance to meet because he was older than my Grandma. It would mean a lot to share a meal with him and get to know him.
As a left field alternative, I’d take the Pharaoh who built the Great pyramid and ask him on how he actually did it (dinosaurs, aliens, people) etc..
What's an industry you would love to learn more about?
Real estate and trading, particularly crypto and shares. I’m looking for that next Short Squeeze ha!
It’s a sunny day, you have no plans for the next 12 hours... Where do you go and what
do you do?
I’d drive down to Oriental Bay with my fam, maybe jump on a crocodile bike, and then relax at Beach Babylon. Or maybe a spontaneous drive out to the Kapiti region with them to find a nice beachside café. Finish off at a rooftop bar!
What do you think is the most important skill for interviewing?
Good communication skills, listening more than you speak (two ears, one mouth), and being personable.Ability to actively listen to the question that is being asked.
