Quick-fire questions with Cherie
What's a technology that gives you the most joy to use?
Garmin watch/Strava combo. I’m a sucker for fitness data and turning myself into a human tamagotchi
If you could share a meal with anyone in history. Who would it be and why?
King Henry VIII and ALL of his six wives. What an interesting dinner party that would be!
What's an industry you would love to learn more about?
When I’m not learning about anything fitness based, I’d love to learn more about genetics!
It’s a sunny day, you have no plans for the next 12 hours... Where do you go and what
do you do?
I would start with a sunrise beach visit with a coffee then head off on one of the following: lengthy run either down Tamaki Drive, trail running in Waihi with friends or find a new hiking spot. Have a much-needed post run/hike almond croissant and spend the rest of the afternoon having a bbq with friends and family listening to music!
What do you think is the most important skill for interviewing?
As the saying goes, you have one mouth and two ears. Make sure you are actively listening to the question and answering appropriately. Add in your confidence whilst being yourself and you will be on track to a great interviewing experience.
