Role Overview
As the Engineering Lead, you will lead tactical software development initiatives for the delivery of their software products. Using contemporary engineering practices and methodologies, you’ll raise the performance of the team and bring a greater predictability to the delivery. You will be responsible for delivering new products to international markets while balancing technical, people, and delivery demands with future-proofing in mind.

Your leadership will:

  • Lead development, delivery, and people initiatives to meet customer objectives and build culture

  • Manage stakeholders and peers, navigate changeable priorities and balancing expectations

  • Articulate a compelling vision and lead from the front during challenging situations, rallying your team to exceed customer expectations

  • Collaborate with executives, teams, and vendors to articulate complicated tactical and operational needs and dependencies

  • Work with the team on software product through some code contribution

To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Leadership experience in managing tactical software development initiatives

  • A commercially focused background with the ability to marry technical, people, and delivery demand decisions

  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, with the ability to articulate a vision and lead from the front

  • Analytical thinking, systematic approach, and adaptability to drive innovation and exceed customer expectations

  • Empathy, objectivity, and a steadfast commitment to the values and principles of and its customers

  • Experience in native Android development and Kotlin (preferably)
