Deliverables / Purpose

This role is about being the local, hands-on link between the business, vendor and key stakeholders across billing and customer experience systems.

This role is based in Palmerston North (Hybrid), working closely with teams in a local government environment to support day-to-day system activity, manage vendor interactions, and help ensure billing and customer processes run smoothly.

The work will suit someone who is comfortable operating across both systems and people. You’ll need to understand how billing and customer experience platforms support frontline service delivery, while also being confident enough to manage conversations, chase outcomes, and keep stakeholders aligned.

The skills and experience we need you to bring

• Experience working with billing systems and customer experience platforms 
• Strong vendor management skills, including following up actions and managing delivery expectations 
• Confident stakeholder management across business and technical teams 
• Experience working in council, utilities, infrastructure, public sector or similar service-based environments would be useful 
• Practical, calm and organised working style 
• Comfortable being the “feet on the ground” for systems, process and business support
