Are you a hands-on Cyber Security Engineer who enjoys getting into the tools, testing new technologies and building practical security solutions?

We’re looking for a technically strong and curious security professional to help strengthen and evolve an organisation’s security environment.This is an opportunity to take ownership of security engineering, experiment with emerging technologies and drive continuous improvement, with the potential to progress into a CISO role over time.
This role is ideal for someone who prefers building, testing and improving security solutions over focusing primarily on governance, risk and compliance.
What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and improve security monitoring, threat detection and alerting capabilities.
• Manage and strengthen endpoint security across Microsoft Intune and related technologies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Build security automations and experiment with AI-driven security tools.
• Identify opportunities to improve security capabilities, processes and technologies.
• Explore cloud security improvements across Azure and AWS environments.
• Take a hands-on approach to solving complex security challenges and implementing practical solutions.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience in cyber security engineering.
• Experience with SIEM platforms, detection engineering and security monitoring.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, endpoint management and endpoint security.
• Experience with penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
• Scripting, automation and a willingness to experiment with AI technologies.
• Cloud security experience across Azure or AWS is advantageous.
• A curious, proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership and turn ideas into practical improvements.
