Senior PMO Lead – Programme Controls
Auckland | 8-Month Contract | up to $130/hr | ASAP Start
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Senior PMO Lead to support a large-scale enterprise transformation programme.
This isn't a governance-heavy PMO role. We need someone who can get into the detail, connect the dots across multiple workstreams and bring clarity and confidence to programme delivery.
What you'll be doing
- Manage integrated programme plans, critical paths, milestones and dependencies.
- Track programme risks, issues, actions and delivery progress.
- Identify gaps, challenge assumptions and flag emerging risks.
- Deliver accurate, insightful reporting for senior leadership and SteerCo.
- Align delivery milestones with financial forecasts, resources and vendor commitments.
- Work closely with existing PMO leadership and delivery partners.
What you'll bring
- Strong experience in programme controls, integrated planning or senior PMO delivery.
- Proven background in complex enterprise transformation programmes.
- Excellent analytical, stakeholder management and reporting skills.
- Experience in programme recovery, financial controls and dependency management.
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, Workday, HRIS, payroll or ERP transformations is advantageous.
We're after someone who rolls up their sleeves, gets things done and knows the difference between reporting progress and driving delivery confidence.
