About the role

The opportunity

This is a practical, on-the-ground support role helping staff settle into new technology following a migration of email, Microsoft Teams and devices.

You’ll be the first point of contact for users who need help, reassurance or quick issue resolution. The work is fast-moving and people-facing, so it will suit someone who enjoys being visible, approachable and able to get users back to work with minimal disruption.

This is a role starting ASAP until March 2027.

The role

You’ll provide floor-walking and desktop support across busy operational environments, helping users adopt new ways of working and resolving issues as they arise.

Your work will include:

• Providing hands-on support following email, Teams and device migration
• Troubleshooting user issues quickly and effectively
• Acting as the first point of contact for post-migration technical questions
• Supporting users with new ways of working and improving confidence with new tools
• Delivering just-in-time training and practical user guidance
• Escalating more complex technical issues to specialist teams
• Monitoring and prioritising incidents to reduce business, clinical or operational impact
• Gathering feedback from users to improve the migration experience
• Keeping stakeholders informed on key issues, risks and resolution activity
• Supporting business continuity by helping users return to normal operations quickly

Your fit

You’ll bring strong desktop support experience and the confidence to work directly with users in person. You’ll be calm under pressure, clear in your communication and comfortable supporting people with varying levels of technical confidence.

You’ll likely have experience with:

• Desktop, deskside or field support
• Microsoft 365, including Outlook and Teams
• Device support and troubleshooting
• Technology rollouts, migrations or deployment environments
• Incident triage, prioritisation and escalation
• Working in high-impact or time-sensitive operational environments

You’ll need to be available to work full time on site, travel across locations when required, and occasionally support shifts across a 24/7 environment.
