Deliverables / Purpose:

This role is for an experienced Guidewire PolicyCenter Developer who can step into an active delivery environment and contribute quickly.

You’ll be working across PolicyCenter configuration, customisation, integrations, business rules, product model configuration, workflows and defect resolution. The work will involve translating business requirements into practical technical outcomes, supporting testing, contributing to release activity and keeping documentation clear and useful.

You’ll need to be comfortable working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and bring sound judgement around Guidewire best practice, design patterns and delivery standards.

The skills and experience we need you to bring:

• Current Guidewire PolicyCenter ACE Certification 
• 5–7 years’ overall IT experience 
• 4+ years’ hands-on Guidewire PolicyCenter development experience 
• Strong PolicyCenter configuration and customisation skills 
• Gosu programming and Guidewire Studio experience 
• Product model configuration, PCF, typelists, UI configuration and rules engine 
• Data model extensions, batch processes and SQL/database concepts 
• REST/SOAP web services and Guidewire Integration Framework 
• Experience with Guidewire implementation, enhancement, migration or upgrade projects 
• Version control experience across Git, Bitbucket or SVN 
• Agile/Scrum delivery experience 
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills 

Nice to have:

• Guidewire Cloud, Integration Gateway or Digital Portal exposure 
• PolicyCenter upgrade or migration experience 
• ContactManager or BillingCenter knowledge 
• Kafka, MuleSoft or enterprise integration platform experience 
• CI/CD exposure across Jenkins, Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
