The Opportunity:

This is a senior architecture leadership role with real breadth: people leadership, governance ownership, strategic direction, and hands-on delivery. You’ll lead a team of four architects, mature the architecture practice, and help turn long-term digital strategy into clear, practical technology direction.

Reporting to senior technology leadership, you’ll be close to the big decisions while still working on complex architecture challenges yourself. It’s well suited to someone who enjoys building capability in others, setting sensible standards, and bringing structure to enterprise-scale technology change.

The Role:

• Lead a team of 4 Architects  
• Manage development, workload, and team capacity 
• Own the enterprise architecture framework, principles, and standards 
• Lead architecture assurance, peer review, and design sign-off 
• Keep architecture documentation and modelling tools current 
• Translate digital strategy into architecture direction and roadmaps 
• Assess emerging technologies and provide clear recommendations 
• Act as Senior Solution Architect on complex or high-risk projects 
• Prepare papers and reports for executive and governance forums 
• Represent the architecture function across technology leadership discussions 

Your fit

• Senior architecture experience in a large, complex organisation 
• Strong enterprise and solution architecture capability 
• Practical knowledge of frameworks such as TOGAF, or similar 
• Current hands-on solution architecture delivery experience 
• Understanding of integration, APIs, cloud, data, and hybrid environments 
• Proven people leadership of technical specialists 
• Clear communicator with executive-level stakeholder confidence 
• Comfortable making pragmatic decisions in ambiguous environments
