About the role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a significant cloud transformation programme.

The programme is focused on establishing a modern, stable and maintainable technology environment, including transitioning core systems and applications from on-premises infrastructure into the Microsoft cloud ecosystem. 

This is a highly visible role requiring someone who can confidently lead complex technology delivery, work effectively with senior leaders and governance groups, and remain close enough to the detail to keep delivery moving.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives
• Establishing and managing integrated project plans
• Coordinating delivery across business, technology and vendor teams
• Managing scope, budgets, forecasts, risks and dependencies
• Overseeing procurement, commercial and vendor activities
• Providing clear reporting to senior leaders and governance groups
• Managing implementation and transition activities
• Maintaining momentum across a complex transformation environment

• Extensive end-to-end technology project delivery experience
• Experience leading cloud, infrastructure or systems migration initiatives
• Strong commercial, financial and vendor management capability
• Confidence working with executives and governance groups
• A pragmatic and hands-on delivery style
• Experience within the public sector or another complex organisation
• Exposure to Azure, Microsoft 365 or related Microsoft cloud technologies would be advantageous
