The Opportunity:
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Product Manager who understands consumer banking and wants real ownership. You’ll lead the strategy, performance and evolution of a home lending portfolio, with a focus on improving product settings, customer journeys, pricing, documentation and digital capability.
The work is broad, commercially important and customer-centred. You’ll be connecting strategy with delivery, helping shape a future-state lending proposition that works across digital, adviser, branch and contact centre channels.
This is a fixed term role based in Invercargill through till December 2027.

The Role:
You’ll be responsible for:
- Leading the home lending product strategy and roadmap
- Managing product performance, settings, pricing and propositions
- Improving end-to-end customer journeys across multiple channels
- Partnering with technology, digital, operations, marketing and delivery teams
- Supporting transformation priorities across lending products and services
- Connecting home lending with broader banking products and customer needs
- Using data, feedback and insight to improve customer outcomes
- Ensuring products remain aligned to regulatory and internal policy requirements
Your Fit:
You’ll likely bring:
- Strong product management experience across strategy, planning and operations
- Banking experience would be useful, but financial services experience is the key
- Proven experience managing product performance and commercial outcomes
- Good knowledge of consumer banking or financial services environments
- An understanding of regulatory requirements in financial services
- Confidence working across senior stakeholders and delivery teams
- A practical, customer-led approach to product improvement
