We’re looking for a practical and organised Project Coordinator to join a large-scale, nationwide transformation programme. This is a hands-on role supporting the transition of new services into business-as-usual, with a strong focus on coordination, administration, stakeholder engagement and keeping day-to-day activities on track.
You’ll work across a range of internal teams, external partners and community stakeholders, helping coordinate operational activities, resolve issues and make sure actions are followed through accurately and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing

- Monitoring, triaging and following up on operational issues
- Coordinating activities and actions across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Managing high-volume administrative and transactional activities
- Supporting fulfilment, distribution and customer-related activities
- Preparing and distributing operational reports
- Maintaining accurate records and tracking actions through to completion
- Coordinating information between project teams, operational teams and external stakeholders
- Supporting invoicing and other routine project administration where required
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and helping implement practical improvements
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a capable all-rounder who is comfortable getting stuck in, picking up new tasks quickly and working across multiple priorities. You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in project coordination, administration, operations support or service delivery
- Strong organisation and attention to detail, particularly when managing high volumes of activity
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- The ability to coordinate competing priorities and keep activities moving
- A practical approach to problem solving and resolving day-to-day issues
- Confidence working across multiple teams and with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience supporting projects, transitions, rollouts or operational change would be beneficial
- Experience working in a complex operational environment with multiple stakeholders would be advantageous.
What’s in it for you?
- Join a significant nationwide transformation programme
- Christchurch-based opportunity
- Varied, hands-on project coordination work
- Plenty of stakeholder interaction across different teams and organisations
- Opportunity to contribute to a high-profile operational rollout
- Work alongside a broad range of teams and partners
