Technical Lead | Greenfield AI SaaS Platform

We're looking for a hands on Technical Lead to join a well-funded organisation embarking on an exciting greenfield product journey.
You'll play a key role in designing and building an AI-enabled platform from scratch, working alongside a collaborative team with the opportunity to make a genuine impact from day one.

This is a rare opportunity to influence architecture, establish engineering standards, mentor developers and remain close to the code.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the technical direction and architecture of a new SaaS platform.
• Design and build scalable applications using React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Mentor developers while remaining hands on with development.
• Champion engineering best practice, CI/CD and modern software delivery.
• Work closely with Product and the wider business to shape the product roadmap.
• Explore and implement AI technologies to improve both the product and engineering practices.

• Previous experience as a Technical Lead, Lead Developer or Senior Full Stack Engineer.
• Strong commercial experience with React, TypeScript and Node.js.
• Experience designing scalable cloud-based applications and APIs.
• Knowledge of PostgreSQL and modern software architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitHub and Agile delivery.
• An interest in AI tools and modern engineering practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative leadership style.
