About the role

Why you would like it

  • Christchurch-based, hybrid working (1-2 days WFH)
  • Own meaningful HubSpot engineering work, with exposure across a diverse portfolio
  • Shape and evolve CRM capability as the function grows
  • Work across Sales, Commerce and Service Hub
  • Collaborative team, with ongoing professional development support
The opportunity

We are looking for skilled and motivated HubSpot Engineers to join our growing Christchurch office, who are passionate about improving how teams leverage HubSpot. This is a hands-on technical role, for someone who likes getting into the detail: workflows, integrations, automations, custom objects, data quality and the decisions that sit behind a well-run CRM. You’ll enjoy designing, building and optimising the HubSpot ecosystem - working across sales, marketing and customer success teams to understand what the business needs, then turning that into practical, scalable solutions to enable desired outcomes.

The role
  • Build and maintain HubSpot Sales, Commerce and/or Service Hub solutions
  • Design workflows, automations, pipelines, properties and reporting
  • Develop HubSpot Custom Objects, including schema and associations
  • Integrate HubSpot with external platforms using REST APIs, webhooks or iPaaS tools
  • Run portal audits to improve performance, data integrity and configuration
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical delivery
  • Provide training, support and documentation for internal users
Your fit
  • 3+ years’ hands-on HubSpot experience
  • Deep expertise in Sales/Commerce Hub and/or Service Hub
  • Experience implementing workflows, automation, pipelines and ticketing processes
  • Good understanding of CRM data architecture and lifecycle stages
  • HubSpot Custom Objects experience
  • Integration experience across APIs, webhooks, Zapier, Make or Workato
  • CPQ exposure through HubSpot, DealHub, PandaDoc or similar
  • Clear communicator across technical and non-technical teams
  • Current HubSpot Sales & Commerce Hub Implementation Certification or Service Hub Implementation Certification
You must be based in Christchurch or relocating here, and have the right to work in New Zealand.

Nice to have
  • Experience working with HubSpot as a HubSpot Partner or Solutions Provider
  • Familiarity with HubSpot Data Hub, including data sync and programmable automation
  • Background in a B2B SaaS, technology, or professional services environment
  • Exposure to Agile or scrum delivery methodologies
  • Experience managing or mentoring junior CRM/HubSpot users
  • Certifications: HubSpot CMS for Developers, Marketing Hub, or Solutions Architecture Design

If you have the HubSpot expertise, and the drive to make an impact, apply now. Please include your latest CV and HubSpot Academy profile link.
