About the role

The Role

As a Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying, and optimising network and system services. This isn't a simple support role-you'll be trusted to research infrastructure improvements, implement cloud solutions, and troubleshoot complex technical issues. 

Your day-to-day will include managing Microsoft environments, deploying applications via Intune, supporting Azure solutions, and maintaining both physical and virtualised server infrastructure. You'll provide 2nd and 3rd level technical support, develop custom scripts to enhance efficiency, and collaborate with your team to ensure the highest levels of system availability.

What You'll Be Doing 

• Analyse and monitor client network infrastructure, recommending improvements to enhance performance
• Deploy, configure, and administer applications using MS Intune
• Design and support solutions within MS Azure and the M365 platform
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows workstation and server environments (physical and virtual)
• Troubleshoot complex network, hardware, and software issues with minimal downtime
• Develop and maintain scripts to improve system efficiency and automation

What You'll Bring

• Solid experience with Microsoft Server technologies and Windows environments
• Working knowledge of virtualisation and cloud computing, particularly MS Azure and M365
