• $65-75/hr +GST

The Opportunity:

We're partnering with an organisation in Dunedin seeking a steady pair of hands to support their infrastructure environment through a period of operational focus. As Infrastructure Engineer, you'll tackle the essential work that keeps systems stable and well-maintained - BAU projects and activities, cleanup tasks, and general infrastructure upkeep.

This isn't a cutting-edge transformation project. It's practical, hands-on work suited to someone who values getting things done without the pressure of constant change or high-stakes innovation.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Maintain and support core infrastructure environments including servers, storage, and networking
• Handle BAU operational tasks and incident resolution
• Work through cleanup and housekeeping activities across the infrastructure estate
• Support patching, updates, and general system maintenance
• Provide technical documentation and handover support as needed
• Collaborate with internal teams on operational requirements

Your Fit:

• Solid generalist infrastructure background covering servers, networking, storage, and virtualisation etc
• Comfortable working across a range of tools and technologies in heavy Microsoft environments
• Practical, hands-on approach with a focus on reliability and operational stability
• Happy working independently on tasks that require patience and attention to detail
• Experience in mid-large enterprise environments
• Excellent communication skills, bringing confidence engaging with stakeholders
• Ability to produce clear, concise documentation
