About the role

Contract Details:

• 6-month hourly rate contract, with strong potential for extension
• $110-120/hr+GST
• ASAP start
• Preferably Dunedin-based (remote working considered for the right person with occasional travel to Dunedin)

The Opportunity:

We're partnering with a dynamic organisation to support the delivery of strategic transformation initiatives. As Senior Business Analyst, you'll play a central role in shaping how business challenges are understood, documented, and translated into practical solutions - particularly around SaaS implementation projects.

You'll work alongside diverse stakeholders and technical teams, helping to drive clarity, alignment, and successful outcomes on projects that directly support organisational goals. You'll be coming in at early stages, therefore the duration of the project is likely to continue for another 12-18 months if things go well.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Facilitate and lead requirements elicitation across multi-stakeholder initiatives
• Analyse and document current state processes, then design future state solutions
• Bridge the gap between business language and technical delivery by creating clear, actionable specifications
• Partner with vendors, development teams, and internal stakeholders throughout SaaS delivery lifecycles
• Support solution design activities while maintaining alignment with wider architectural principles

Your Fit:

• Strong background in business analysis with proven requirements elicitation and documentation skills
• Solid experience mapping processes and identifying improvement opportunities
• Demonstrated involvement in SaaS solution delivery or implementation
• Ability to communicate complex business needs in a way that technical teams can act on
• Background in Health & Safety domains is a plus
• Confident working across diverse teams and managing stakeholder expectations
