Large Business & Enterprise Client Development Manager
About the role
We’re partnering with a global technology organisation to find a highly connected Enterprise Client Development Manager to drive strategic growth across Auckland’s enterprise market.
This is a senior commercial opportunity focused on building genuine enterprise relationships, opening new doors, and expanding market presence across some of New Zealand’s largest organisations. The role suits someone who already has an established network across Auckland’s enterprise and reseller landscape and understands how enterprise technology buying decisions are made.
Rather than inheriting a heavily established customer base, this role is centred around relationship-led growth. You’ll be trusted to leverage your existing market connections, develop new enterprise opportunities, and position commercial technology solutions into large-scale business environments.
You’ll be engaging directly with senior decision-makers across enterprise organisations, understanding their technology strategies, refresh cycles, operational challenges, and future growth plans. The ability to build credibility quickly and develop long-term trusted relationships will be critical to success in this role.
What you’ll be doing:
- Driving enterprise business development activity across the Auckland market
- Leveraging existing relationships and networks to create and convert new opportunities
- Building strategic relationships with CIOs, IT Managers, Procurement teams, and senior business stakeholders
- Identifying customer requirements and aligning commercial technology solutions to business outcomes
- Working closely with reseller and channel partners to develop and close opportunities
- Leading customer meetings, product demonstrations, strategic discussions, and commercial engagements
- Maintaining accurate pipeline management and forecasting through Salesforce
- Representing the organisation across networking events, partner engagements, and enterprise meetings
- Providing market intelligence and customer insights to support wider commercial strategy
- Strong experience in enterprise business development within the Auckland technology market
- Existing relationships across enterprise customers, channel partners, and reseller networks
- Strong understanding of enterprise procurement cycles and commercial buying patterns
- Experience selling or positioning workplace technology, commercial hardware, or enterprise IT solutions
- A consultative and relationship-led sales approach
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
- Ability to operate autonomously and build momentum within a growth-focused environment
- NZ Citizen or Permanent Resident status is required due to trans-Tasman travel requirements
- Full NZ Driver Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Comfortable with occasional travel between Auckland and Australia
- Fully remote role based in Auckland
