About the role

Contract Details:
• 3-month hourly rate contract
• ASAP start – within 2 weeks
• Dunedin based 

The Opportunity:
We're working with a organisation on a business-critical software delivery project. This project centres on delivering new functionality for a key customer.  You'll step in as the delivery lead, driving progress, managing cross-team coordination across development teams, and ensuring the programme runs smoothly from kickoff through to go-live and beyond.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Own end-to-end delivery across one or more workstreams
• Set the plan, manage dependencies, and keep delivery on track
• Coordinate across dev teams, ensuring alignment and clear communication
• Manage risks, issues, and blockers with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
• Keep stakeholders informed and confident through regular, transparent updates
• Bring structure and momentum to a fast-moving environment

Your Fit:
• 5+ years' experience delivering complex software projects as a Senior Project Manager or Delivery Manager
• Background in SaaS, software development, or product delivery environments
• Confident managing timelines, dependencies, risks, and overall delivery governance
• Effective communicator who builds strong relationships with developers, product teams, and stakeholders
• Experience coordinating across multiple development teams or cross-functional squads
• Comfortable working through ambiguity and providing clarity and structure
• Solid leadership with a practical, hands-on approach
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and hybrid delivery methods
• Relevant certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) are advantageous
