• 3-month hourly rate full-time contract
• Remote from anywhere in NZ, after 1-week onsite in Dunedin
• Potential to extend or flow to permanent for the right person
• ASAP start preferred

Deliverables / purpose

You’ll take ownership of internal IT operations during a transition period, leading a small team of 2. Immedaitely critical, will also be supporting the business through an ISO audit where groundwork is already underway. The goal is simple: consistent, reliable internal IT service delivery, audit-friendly governance, and a better end-user experience - even when things pivot rapidly. You’ll bring operational discipline to ticket management, identity/access, onboarding/offboarding processes, asset/device lifecycle management, and you’ll coach a small team to lift capability and follow-through.

The skills and experience we need you to bring

• Proven leadership in internal IT service delivery (small team environment, not corporate) 
• SaaS background, ideally with SaaS management provider/tool experience
• ISO27001 audit experience (must have) 
• Strong internal ticket management discipline: triage, prioritisation, escalation, SLAs 
• Asset / hardware lifecycle management (accuracy, control, reducing shadow IT) 
• Identity & access management with governance mindset 
• Agile, adaptable, comfortable pivoting in a fluid environment - you enjoy a bit of chaos, but you bring clarity  
• Desirable: ITIL mindset, root-cause/problem management, experience in globally dispersed organisations
