The role
This is a pure acquisition role focused on expanding market share. You will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new customers within the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
Success in this role is driven by:
- Prospecting and pipeline generation
- Cold outreach and face-to-face client meetings
- Applying structured qualification methodologies
- Maintaining accurate CRM pipeline visibility
- Closing new revenue and attaching services and maintenance
You will need to be comfortable building opportunities from scratch and managing a structured sales cycle. This is not an order-taking role. It requires resilience, discipline and consistent activity.
What you bring3–5+ years in a B2B hunter or business development role
- Proven ability to win new business and meet quotas
- Strong commercial communication skills
- Ability to build domain knowledge quickly
- Pipeline discipline and structured sales approach
