The role

• Lead and support a team of Software Engineers and Architects
• Ensure service availability and performance meets agreed SLAs
• Coordinate planning and delivery across projects and BAU work
• Maintain architecture standards, patterns, and governance practices
• Lift software engineering maturity (including CI/CD and maintainability)
• Manage cost consumption across cloud products, licences, and vendors
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders and delivery partners
• Contribute to broader technology leadership and continuous improvement 

Your fit

• 7–10 years in leading teams or programme/project delivery
• Proven people leadership: coaching, performance support, and change leadership
• Strong grounding in software delivery &/or enterprise architecture disciplines
• Experience with SaaS and/or public cloud platforms
• Comfortable with financial management, procurement, and vendor contracts
• Clear communicator who can manage expectations across varied stakeholders
