A true partner to the CPTO in shaping what gets built and why. The impact is tangible. The expectations are clear. This is not a supporting role.
Company Profile:
This business builds technology used by global agricultural customers at scale to make critical operational and commercial decisions. Its platform brings together software, image and numeric data, and purpose-built hardware to support fruit sizing, grading, yield insights, workforce tracking, and orchard management.
The Role:
As Product Manager, you will take end-to-end ownership of the product function, spanning SaaS and hardware.
Work alongside the CPTO, engineering, sales, and customers, you will drive the product roadmap. You will be hands-on and close to the work, spending time with customers, translating needs into clear specifications, and ensuring both hardware and software solutions deliver real value in the field with the engineering team. There is a big opportunity for agentification and the use of data-driven decision making in the product systems and processes.
The role includes regular travel to customer sites and partners, typically around two to three weeks per quarter. Time on-site is essential to understand how the hardware is used, how the software performs in real conditions, and where improvements matter most.
Balance delivery with commercial judgement, making clear calls on priorities and trade-offs across the full product. This role suits someone comfortable operating in a growing environment where the product is complex, the hardware is real, and expectations are high.
Your Fit:
You have experience hustling to deliver value and managing technical products that include physical hardware, sensors, or devices integrated with software platforms. You understand the constraints and trade-offs of building products that operate outside controlled environments.
You are comfortable working closely with engineers, suppliers, and customers. You can turn messy inputs into clear direction and make practical decisions that balance customer needs, delivery effort, and commercial outcomes. You love the challenge and adoption of AI. You love learning from an executive leader who deeply understand how to give customers what they want whilst being commercial successful.
If you want responsibility for a product where hardware truly matters and decisions show up in the real world, this role is for you.
