About the role

Job Summary: 
We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a delivery-focused project team in Christchurch. This is a hands-on, onsite role suited to someone who enjoys clear documentation and working closely with stakeholders to keep delivery moving.

• Duration: 3–6 months
• Start: Immediate start preferred
• Location: Onsite – Christchurch
• Engagement: Hourly Rate Contract

What you’ll be doing:

• Running workshops and stakeholder interviews to understand business problems and define requirements
• Producing high-quality BA artefacts including user stories, process maps, functional and non-functional requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Supporting delivery through backlog refinement, prioritisation, and change impact assessment
• Working closely with SMEs, delivery leads, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding
• Identifying risks, assumptions, dependencies, and options to support informed decision-making

What we’re looking for:

• Solid experience as a Business Analyst across business process and/or system change
• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to ask the right questions and drive clear outcomes
• Confidence facilitating workshops and documenting requirements to a high standard
• Experience working in Agile and/or hybrid delivery environments
• Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and process mapping (e.g. BPMN)
