About the role This is a Junior–Intermediate QA Tester role within a product-led SaaS business building software used by organisations around the world.

You’ll join a small, capable engineering team where quality actually matters. This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys testing; thinking critically, breaking things (politely), and helping teams ship better software.

Automation is central to how quality is approached here. You don’t need to know every tool on day one, but you do need the mindset: think automation first, understand code, and apply strong testing fundamentals under real-world pressure.

What you’ll be doing

• Designing, maintaining, and improving automated tests across a modern SaaS platform
• Writing and executing manual test cases where they add real value
• Working closely with developers and product to identify risk early and prevent defects
• Using tools like Playwright for automation and Insomnia for API and manual testing
• Validating APIs and integrations (experience with Jest or API testing is a bonus)
• Thinking critically about edge cases, user behaviour, and system resilience
• Helping shape testing practices rather than just following scripts
• Staying calm, focused, and effective when deadlines or pressure ramp up

What we’re looking for

• 1–2 years’ commercial experience in QA or software testing
• Someone who wants to be a tester and takes pride in quality outcomes
• Solid understanding of testing fundamentals and how software systems behave
• Comfort reading or working with code 
• Automation-first mindset, even if your experience is still developing
• Able to think independently, ask good questions, and challenge assumptions
• SaaS experience is nice to have, but mindset and curiosity matter more
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift
