This is a senior, hands-on graphics engineering role for someone who enjoys solving complex problem, working close to the metal. You’ll help build the next generation of real-time graphics systems used in live broadcast environments - where reliability, performance, and quality matter. If you like working across rendering, shaders, video integration, and tools that operators rely on in-the-moment, this one has plenty of depth for you.

The role
- Build and extend applications using a hybrid render engine (Vulkan/DX12)
- Develop real-time rendering features, shaders, and visualisation tools
- Help migrate legacy OpenGL components to modern rendering backends
- Work on video pipelines, calibrated camera feeds, and spatial data workflows
- Create operational UIs that support live production use-cases
- Debug, optimise, and improve performance across CPU/GPU workloads
- Collaborate with technical artists, product, and operations to ship polished outcomes
Your fit
- 5+ years modern C++ experience (C++14/17/20)
- Experience with Vulkan, DirectX 12 or OpenGL
- Shader programming (GLSL/HLSL or similar)
- Solid 3D maths fundamentals (geometry, transforms, rendering pipeline concepts)
- Comfort working in performance-critical, real-time systems
- UI experience (ImGui, Qt, wxWidgets, or similar)
- Clear communicator and natural problem solver
Nice to have
- Experience working on custom engines or toolchains
- Interest in sports graphics, sports data, or real-time storytelling
- Experience optimising GPU/CPU workloads
- Exposure to video processing or camera calibration
