The opportunity:

This is a pivotal role overseeing the day-to-day effectiveness of security operations and incident response. You’ll lead and develop a team of Engineers and Analysts, keep security systems performing as expected, and make sure incident processes are current, tested, and continuously improved. You’ll work closely with a Product Owner on delivery, collaborate with Security Awareness, support Security Consultants, and help drive compliance with organisational security policy.

The role:

• Lead, coach, and develop Security Operations Engineers and Analysts 
• Own operational excellence across monitoring, response, and continuous improvement 
• Maintain and improve incident response processes (methodical, measurable, current) 
• Partner with Product Owner to plan and deliver security operational outcomes 
• Coordinate with Security Awareness and support Security Consultants 
• Support adherence to security policy and operational controls 
• Engage across Governance, Risk, Compliance, and Architecture teams 

Your fit:

• Strong business and technical communication; confident with stakeholders 
• Proven people leadership and calm, accountable incident management 
• Experience operating in medium-to-large, complex organisations 
• 10+ years in Information Security, including 5+ years in leadership 
• Tertiary qualification in IT/Computer Science or equivalent certs/experience 
• Comfortable with modern delivery ways of working (Agile in InfoSec)
