Head of IT
About the role
Why you would like it
- Own the ICT strategy and execution (not just “keep the lights on”)
- Lead modernisation across platforms, data and security
- Senior role reporting into the CFO with strong business access
- Tangible programmes on the go (ERP transformation, cloud, integration)
- Influence how technology supports operational teams day-to-day
This is a senior leadership role for someone who can set direction and deliver outcomes. You’ll shape the ICT roadmap, lift digital maturity, and make sure systems, data and security are fit for where the organisation is heading. There’s plenty to get your teeth into: modernising the application landscape, enabling better reporting and insights, improving governance and service delivery, and supporting major business programmes (including ERP transformation and new operational initiatives). If you’re the type who can translate “what the business needs” into clear, prioritised technology decisions, and bring people with you - this one will suit. You’ll be joining a relatively small, nimble team, so this suits someone who’s genuinely hands on, and happy to roll up their sleeves and get things moving. Not everything will be black and white, so you’ll need to be comfortable operating in the grey, using good judgement, and communicating clearly. You’ll also be engaging with stakeholders across multiple locations, so confidence, clarity, and follow-through matter.
