About the role

Contract Length: To 30th June, initially
Start: Mid January
Location: Blenheim (2 days on-site/week)

Deliverables/Purpose
Lead discovery to validate the application landscape ahead of desktop rollout. You’ll build a complete application inventory, map dependencies, confirm ownership and licensing, assess technical compatibility, and produce clean, consumable artefacts for packaging and deployment. Work closely with packaging and testing teams to support Intune/SCCM delivery, surface risks early, and highlight legacy apps needing uplift or remediation. You’ll engage business, operational and IT stakeholders, often within tight windows, building trust quickly to extract the detail needed. Expect ambiguity, varied workflows and changing priorities—your structure and calm will create clarity.

Skills & Experience

• Proven application discovery, analysis and environment mapping across complex enterprises.
• Strong knowledge of Windows desktop environments (Windows 10/11), application packaging lifecycle.
• Experience with Intune and SCCM/MECM; able to produce discovery outputs for packaging/testing.
• Skilled at identifying dependencies, integration points, licensing and technical constraints.
• Excellent documentation; structured templates and artefacts that are easy to consume.
• Confident stakeholder engagement—able to build trust quickly and maximise value from short user sessions.
• Comfortable with ambiguity, agility to pivot to changing priorities.
