Managed Services Operations Manager
About the role
IT Operations Manager – Managed Services (Cloud & Security)
Why you’ll want this role
- Lead operational delivery across multi-cloud and enterprise application environments
- Shape the future of 24/7 managed services, automation, uptime, resilience
- Direct NOC operations and major incident response with clear client visibility
- Be part of a business where service quality is engineered, not improvised
This is a hands-on leadership role that sits at the centre of service delivery. You’ll own the daily rhythm of operations across Azure, AWS, and application stacks, running a 24/7 model supported by a mature ITSM framework.
Your focus: reliability, security, and continual improvement. You’ll drive incident and problem management discipline, strengthen automation, and ensure every client engagement reflects operational excellence.
It’s the ideal challenge for someone who’s built credibility in large managed-service environments and now wants to shape, simplify, and lead within a more agile setting, where your decisions have direct impact and visibility.
What you’ll do
- Lead the NOC and service operations teams across cloud and application environments
- Maintain ITIL/ITSM standards for incident, problem, and change management
- Act as the escalation point for critical client issues and SLA performance
- Advance automation, monitoring, and operational reporting
- Strengthen security posture, compliance, and risk management
- Foster collaboration across infrastructure and application support streams
- Proven experience in Managed Services or MSP leadership (external or enterprise scale)
- Strong exposure to Azure and/or AWS in operational contexts
- Track record running NOC and 24/7 support functions
- Deep knowledge of ITIL/ITSM frameworks and service delivery excellence
- Collaborative communicator who brings clarity and confidence to technical teams
- Bonus: exposure to ArcGIS or other enterprise application platforms
The scope to define what “good operations” looks like. The chance to lead a capable, committed team and build something sustainable which is a managed-services engine known for reliability, resilience, and continuous improvement.
If that sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to talk.
