The opportunity
Join a growing Data & Insights team where trusted, timely data underpins decision-making across the organisation. You’ll design, build, and maintain robust, scalable pipelines and transformation workflows, ensuring data is accurate, accessible, and secure. Working closely with insights specialists and business stakeholders, you’ll translate needs into reliable data models and ELT/ETL processes. You’ll also play a key role in embedding governance, privacy, and risk practices, and in improving performance, observability, and reliability across the data platform. If you enjoy solving engineering problems, streamlining pipelines, and delivering data that people can rely on, this is a chance to make your mark in a permanent role.

The role
- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines
- Implement ELT/ETL and robust data models
- Integrate diverse sources with quality and lineage
- Monitor and tune performance and reliability
- Partner with insights and business stakeholders
- Embed governance, privacy, and risk practices
- Automate orchestration and CI/CD
- 4+ years in data engineering (or similar)
- Degree in Computer Science
- Strong SQL and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, or dbt
- Scripting with Python or Bash
- Experience with orchestration tools and CI/CD
- Able to clarify requirements and deliver end-to-end
- Strong communicator; mindful of data privacy and security
