About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to step into a role that blends technical delivery with strategic influence. You’ll work closely with clients to shape IT roadmaps, lead infrastructure projects, and act as a trusted escalation point for complex issues. What you’ll be doing

• Providing technical leadership and strategic advice through client-facing IT roadmaps
• Leading and implementing infrastructure projects from planning through to delivery
• Acting as an escalation point for the service desk, resolving complex technical issues
• Ensuring client environments align with internal standards and best practices
• Maintaining clear documentation and contributing to continuous improvement
• Participating in after-hours support on rotation as required

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience delivering technical solutions in small to medium business environments
• Strong knowledge across Microsoft technologies (Office 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, Azure AD)
• Experience with virtualisation, networking, backup, and endpoint management tools (Intune, Autopilot)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships
• Self-motivated, organised, and comfortable managing complex workloads independently
• Professional certifications (MCSA or equivalent) are highly regarded
