The role:

• Design, implement and maintain ETL processes whilst optimising data models and query performance
• Manage and monitor data warehouses ensuring high availability, accuracy and data consistency
• Develop and maintain comprehensive data access policies and role-based security controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate manual processes and provide database expertise
• Create data views and models supporting analytical functions across sales, marketing, finance and research
• Provide technical training and support for reporting tools across the organisation
 
Your fit:

• Experience with relational databases and data warehouses, particularly PostgreSQL
• Strong SQL expertise including complex query writing, performance tuning and data modeling
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines from various data sources
• Proficiency in Python for data manipulation, automation and API integrations
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with experience collaborating across technical and business teams
• Bonus points for Django framework experience
