The Role

• Build and operate the data platform using both in-house and vendor tools 
• Design and implement data pipelines from various providers to populate the platform
• Analyse and automate data processes to improve efficiency and reliability
• Curate internal and external datasets to meet evolving business needs
• Develop data standards and quality frameworks that ensure integrity
• Apply best-practice data design principles to solve complex challenges

Your Fit

• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Demonstrable production experience with SQL, Python, and Apache Spark
• Academic brilliance combined with practical problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Experience in data specialist roles with passion for stakeholder collaboration 
• Bonus points for Databricks and Microsoft Azure experience
• Detail-oriented with keen eye for data discrepancies and quality issues
