About the role

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Cloud practitioner to join a forward-thinking tech business making a big impact in their sector. In this role, you’ll manage and support cloud-based systems in a production environment, ensuring they’re secure, reliable, and high-performing.

You’ll be hands-on with monitoring and incident response, automation, and Infrastructure as Code, while also working closely with customers to deliver seamless implementations and upgrades. If you enjoy keeping complex cloud environments running smoothly and take pride in solving problems before they escalate, this is a great opportunity to make your mark.

What you’ll be doing
You’ll be the go-to person for keeping a modern cloud environment humming, balancing hands-on technical work with problem-solving and customer interaction.

  • Take ownership of a robust Microsoft Azure environment, ensuring it runs securely and efficiently
  • Spot issues before they become problems by monitoring systems with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights
  • Automate and innovate using Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicep, ARM, Terraform, and Azure DevOps Pipelines
  • Blend worlds by managing hybrid environments and seamless on-prem to cloud integrations
  • Be the identity gatekeeper, managing access via Azure Active Directory / Entra ID and conditional access
  • Work directly with customers, helping them through smooth implementations, upgrades, and ongoing support so their experience is seamless
Skills & experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft Azure in a production environment
  • Strong skills in monitoring, alerting, and incident response
  • Proficiency with PowerShell or Azure CLI for scripting and automation
  • Experience in hybrid environments and identity management
  • Solid understanding of cloud security principles
  • It's a bonus if you have experience with Linux servers and relational databases
  • Strong communication skills and comfortable in customer-facing scenarios
Benefits
  • Hybrid working; 3 days in the office, 2 days from home per week
  • Annual performance-based bonus
  • Career growth opportunities within a stable and innovative organisation
  • Work with modern cloud technologies and tools
  • Collaborative and supportive team culture
  • Opportunity to work on impactful projects with global reach
