About the Role
This is a full stack role with a strong backend focus (Python/Django), contributing across front-end and infrastructure where needed. You’ll be supporting and evolving core lab systems, internal tools, and customer-facing applications used in scientific and diagnostic workflows.
What You'll Do
- Develop and enhance internal lab software applications
- Contribute to a major system consolidation project
- Build and maintain APIs and backend services
- Collaborate with frontend developers (React focus)
- Work directly with lab and R&D stakeholders
- Assist with DevOps and infrastructure improvements (Docker, Git, Linux)
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical decision-making
What you’ll bring
- Strong commercial Python/Django experience
- Full stack capability with some frontend skills (React a bonus)
- Confident communicator with non-tech users
- Comfortable working across legacy and greenfield
- Proactive, reliable, team-focused
- Bonus: AWS/Azure, scripting, containers
