About the role

Deliverables/Purpose:

You'll be developing and enhancing critical financial systems using .NET, SQL Server, and React within an agile environment. Working alongside developers of intermediate and senior ability, you'll contribute to technical system design, peer reviews, and maintaining high coding standards. Your focus will be on delivering robust, scalable solutions while following test-driven development practices and contributing to comprehensive documentation.

The Skills and Experience We Need You to Bring:

• Strong proficiency in .NET and .NET Core/Standard development using C#
• Experience with REST-based Web APIs and Microsoft SQL Server
• Solid understanding of .NET MVC 5, HTML, CSS, and web standards (WAI)
• JavaScript and React expertise
• AWS cloud infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of design patterns (CQRS, MVC, MVVM, Repository)
• Experience with source control (Git, Subversion) and continuous integration (TeamCity)
• Understanding of DDD, TDD, and SOLID principles
• Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban
• Financial services or transactional systems experience beneficial

Contract Details:

• 12-month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Working within a collaborative scrum team including developers, architects, UX designers, and consultants
• Established programme with ongoing development requirements
• Hybrid working arrangements available
