The opportunity
Our client has several large-scale data initiatives kicking off soon and is looking for a seasoned Data Architect/Engineer to take the technical lead. This role is ideal for someone who still enjoys being hands-on, but also thrives when driving architecture, leading delivery, and mentoring both internal and client teams. It’s a mix of structure, impact, and freedom—perfect for someone senior who’s not ready to slow down.

The role

• Design and lead dbt + Snowflake implementations from the ground up
• Define best practices and provide strategic guidance to delivery teams
• Own technical delivery across large migration projects
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders
• Mentor team members and build capability within client teams
• Balance architectural thinking with deep technical execution

What you bring

• ~8+ years of experience in data engineering and architecture
• Deep expertise with dbt and Snowflake implementations
• Strong background leading complex data migrations
• Ability to run delivery independently as a technical lead
• Passion for mentoring and team development
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• A hands-on mindset—still enjoys solving complex data problems
