The Role:
- Design, develop and deploy AI-powered products focused on chat-based tools and data-driven insights
- Utilise large language model APIs (OpenAI, Google, etc.) to create scalable AI solutions
- Collaborate with product teams to define requirements aligned with business objectives
- Ensure cloud infrastructure (primarily AWS, some Google Cloud) is optimised for AI deployments
- Work with global technical teams on cross-functional integration projects
- Maintain high coding standards and engineering best practices
- Contribute to continuous improvement of AI engineering practices across the team
- Strong experience in AI engineering with a focus on building and deploying AI solutions
- Proficiency in Python and experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Google Gemini, etc.)
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, primarily AWS (Google Cloud experience a plus)
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management
- Knowledge of software engineering best practices including version control and testing
- Experience with data engineering tools like Daxter and FastAPI
- Familiarity with SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
