About the role

Contract Details:
- Initial 6-month hourly rate contract.
- $130-135/hr +GST, 40 hours per week.
- Based in Dunedin or Christchurch.


Purpose of the Role:

This role is to come in at early stages and oversee the successful delivery of multiple solutions within a wider digital programme of work, from scoping through to delivery. You will be instrumental in guiding the team through prioritisation, removing roadblocks and ultimately enabling quality solution delivery that is on time and in budget. This will suit someone who enjoys complex pieces of work with many moving parts and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and contribute as needed to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. This role can be based from either Dunedin or Christchurch only.

Skills Required to be Successful:

- Demonstrable background of driving IT project delivery to successful completion.
- Ability to guide team to prioritise and progress multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Demonstrable success getting up to speed quickly in established teams and environments, to add immediate value.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Track record of managing project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to manage expectations effectively.
- Problem-solving abilities and a solutions-focused mindset
- Workload and resource management.
- Experience utilising iterative and Kanban ways of working.
