Our client is one of Australasia’s fastest-growing PropTech companies, building a world-first accounting system for the real estate industry. They are seeking a Senior Financial Systems Architect to lead the design and development of their financial platform.

Role Overview
As a Senior Financial Systems Architect, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable financial systems, ensuring data integrity, and implementing robust ledger management, reconciliation, and reporting frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and develop financial systems tailored to a unique PropTech platform.
• Design and manage ledger databases using double-entry accounting principles.
• Implement reconciliation flows to ensure financial accuracy.
• Develop financial reporting and audit frameworks for compliance and transparency.
• Work closely with internal teams to integrate financial systems.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.

Key Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in financial system architecture and development.
• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting and ledger databases.
• Experience designing reconciliation flows, reporting, and audit frameworks.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (SQL, Python, Java, C#, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Immediate availability is essential.
