Given the complexity of the multiple treatment localities, disciplines and joint-ventures that require centralised technology service delivery, the transformation journey is going to be challenging, but ultimately incredibly effective for the clinicians and patients. To achieve this, it needs a strong bridge between technology and business - one that creates and drives alignment, fosters trust, and delivers tangible value. This is where the Head of Engagement comes in.
Your Role:
As Head of Engagement, you will be the critical link between the executives, technology group and the hospitals and joint ventures. Your mandate: own the tech group and work as a pair with the CDO directly. You’ll build deep partnerships with General Managers and board, deliver the tech roadmap and bring to life the group’s goals through the tech delivery.
Senior Leadership & Strategy: Drive the vision, strategy, and innovation for group-wide business transformation. You are the 2IC of this. Own engagement with hospitals and joint ventures. Stay ahead of industry trends to position them as a future-ready, technology-enabled healthcare provider.
People Management & Development: Lead, engage, and develop teams. Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, ensuring the right talent is in place through recruitment and succession planning. Champion values and behaviors in every interaction.
Delivery & Performance Management: Technology changes and SLAs are at the heart of knowing the group is performing across business and clinical settings. Establishment of principles and measures to meet - this is you. Allocate resources effectively, oversee budgeting, and track milestones to deliver on both strategic and tactical objectives. Maintain a clear focus on measurable CX and operational excellence.
Engagement & Governance: Own all service and business-facing technology delivery. Manage performance reporting and compliance, mitigate risks, and lock in process standards. Strengthen relationships with stakeholders by providing transparency and positioning technology to meet business needs.
Commercial & Financial Acumen: Balance business, technical, and performance considerations to deliver commercially viable solutions. Align investment decisions with strategic objectives to optimise technology’s value across the ecosystem.
Your fit:
A leader of people and highly influential in relationship building with senior execs and C-suite, you’ll connect and be acknowledged as an executive trusted partner and a clever commercial and delivery practitioner. Balance commercial, operational, and strategic needs amongst the web of stakeholders and their priorities and service and tech needs.
The delivery of a multi-million dollar transform programme is the herald of the new era for integrated care and health outcomes - which will be your focus to own in partnership with the CDO. Evidence of practical and pragmatic predictable delivery methods and systems will see you in good stead here.
Stakeholder management is critical to the success of the group.
Service delivery, customer satisfaction, and performance reporting will provide the quantitative and quantifiable evidence for the future edge their healthcare business will have.
