Systems Engineer | 4-Month Contract
Our client is looking for a Systems Engineer to join the team on a 4-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working across a range of technologies and contributing to a busy environment.

About the role:
This is an opportunity to leave your mark on a company like no other within the South Island, with their highly dynamic and complex operational environment. This won’t be BAU and not every day will be the same.
 

• Manage and maintain Windows-based environments
• Support Microsoft Intune for endpoint management.
• Provide hands-on support across IT systems and infrastructure
• Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Assist with upgrades, maintenance, and security best practices
• Work with a collaborative team to maintain and improve system performance

This is not a remote role; it is a full-time 4-month contract role (with possibility of being extended) of 40 hours per week and is based on-site.

About you:

• Experience in a Systems Engineer or similar IT role
• Comfortable working with Windows infrastructure and Microsoft Intune
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft environments, networking, and security best practices
• A proactive and team-focused attitude
• Must be able to pass a Ministry of Justice check
