The Role:

As a Data Engineer, you'll manage and optimise our data warehouse, ensuring high availability and consistency and working closely with our Dunedin Data team. Your expertise in data modelling and ETL activities will support our reporting and analytics capabilities. You'll work closely with both in-house teams and external partners, designing systems to automate processes and providing technical support for our reporting tools. Your Fit:

You're an experienced data professional with a proven track record in database and data warehouse management. Here's what you'll bring to the team:

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL and PowerBI.
- Experience with data modelling, data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Strong understanding of data security and system optimisation.
- Familiarity with Python and Django is a plus.

Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to work effectively in diverse and dynamic environments.

Prior experience in the veterinary or agricultural sectors is a plus.
