The Role:

As the Network / Systems Engineer you will

• Install, configure, and manage servers, dev-ops infrastructure and network systems.
• Monitor the health and performance of all computer systems, including servers, networks, and end-user devices
• Maintain security protocols by managing firewalls, internal network segregation, monitoring for suspicious activities, and ensuring antivirus software and updates are in place
• Develop and maintain system documentation including configurations, network diagrams, and procedural manuals

About you

You are a customer-focused Network / Systems Engineer with:

• A strong knowledge of networking, LAN, WAN, different typologies and various network services i.e VPN, SDN-WAN, Cloud based networking
• Extensive knowledge of different network appliances and accompany software layers - key systems include:  Fortigate and Ubiquiti.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V, Proxmox)
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, firewalls, and endpoint protection
