About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Level 3 Technical Consultant to join our Christchurch-based team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid technical background, a proactive attitude, and a collaborative mindset. Working closely with the projects team, you’ll take the lead on technical tasks while coordinating with IT vendors and delegating overflow work to junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands-on technical delivery across networking, server management, and applications.
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless execution and delivery.
- Engage with IT vendors to troubleshoot, manage, and resolve technical issues.
- Delegate lower-tier tasks to junior team members while maintaining oversight.
- Uphold a strong team ethos where accountability and mutual support are prioritized.
- Proven experience in Tier 3+ technical roles.
- Expertise in networking, server infrastructure, and application management.
- A solid work ethic and ability to adapt to changing workflows.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with both vendors and internal teams.
- A team player who’s willing to pitch in to get the job done.
- Willingness to participate in random drug and alcohol testing onsite.
- 20 hours per week (potential for additional hours based on workflow and capacity).
- Onsite role with free parking.
