Key Responsibilities:

• Develop high-quality .NET, SQL, and React code
• Engage in technical design with fellow developers, architects, and UX designers
• Conduct peer code reviews, following coding standards and best practices
• Utilise Test-Driven Development (TDD) techniques
• Create unit and integration tests, along with essential documentation
• Contribute to Agile processes and knowledge sharing

Skills and Experience you need to bring:

• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET, .NET Core/Standard, REST APIs, SQL Server, and MVC 5
• Proficiency in front-end technologies like JavaScript, React, and AngularJS
• Familiarity with design patterns (CQRS, MVC, MVVM) and experience with multi-tenant cloud/SaaS environments
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., TeamCity)
• Strong grasp of DDD, TDD, and SOLID principles
• 5+ years in professional software development, ideally in transactional or enterprise systems and a background in financial or regulated environments.
• Agile framework experience (Scrum or Kanban) and a collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills

Contract Details:

• Term: 2 years
• Work Flexibility: Hybrid working based in Auckland
• Start Date: Mid January
