As Sales & Marketing Director, reporting to the CEO - you’ll take ownership of the strategic vision, oversee customer-centric initiatives, and expand market reach in ways that resonate with the company’s growth ambitions.
The role breaks down into six core competencies:
Sales Strategy and Revenue Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to hit revenue targets, continuously refining approaches based on market demands. You’ll leverage industry knowledge to identify new local (mainly) and global opportunities, establish competitive pricing strategies, and lead RFP and tender responses within tight timelines. Additionally, you’ll partner with key customers and vendors, negotiating favourable terms to strengthen relationships and deliver profitability.
Marketing Strategy: Lead the charge on marketing initiatives to ensure penetration and brand resonance, shape the product roadmap and guarantee alignment with customer needs and business goals. Harnessing the toolsets of your team and vendors, you’ll drive market development efforts that solidify the organisation’s brand awareness and elevate customer engagement.
Customer Relationship Management: Build new and enduring relationships with target customers and stakeholders, focused on their satisfaction and long-term retention. Current market position is very strong, so nationally it is about retention of revenue and cross-selling into existing client base. Employ CRM tools to optimise processes, analyse customer satisfaction surveys, and translate insights into actionable improvements, all while representing the brand at industry events and forums.
Team Leadership and Development: Further cultivate a high-performance Sales and Marketing environment, mentoring and empowering team members to achieve their best. As a senior leader, you’ll set high standards for performance and collaboration, contributing to the company’s overarching strategy and ensuring alignment across all departments.
Budgeting and Financial Planning: Manage budgets for sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring efficient resource allocation and a solid return on investment.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyse trends, sales outcomes, and campaign metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
Your fit:
You are a strategic, results-oriented leader with a robust understanding of digital healthcare, and the network of personnel in the local market. Known for your analytical approach and adeptness in motivating teams, you’ll excel at conceptualising and implementing revenue-generating sales strategies while fostering customer-centricity within your team. You bring strong communication skills, adaptability, and a passion for making impactful contributions to a broad range of local (and some international) Health customers.
